Use Filters to refine the data being viewed on the grid. If filters are enabled, you’ll see the Show Filter option at the bottom of the grid.

flt_showFilter

Click on it to show the Filter Toolbar. The toolbar will open near the top or bottom of the grid. The Filter Toolbar contains a Combo Box and Text Box for each filterable column.

Filtering a Column

Use the Search Type Combo Box to select from the types of search you have available. The types of searches may vary depending on the field type. Once you've selected a Search Type, type in target characters in the Search String Text Box.

You can filter as many columns as you like; just be aware that only records satisfying all filters will be shown.

Selecting No Filter as your Search Type directs TexRev to ignore that field's Search String.

Once you've selected your filter setting, click Apply Filter from the filter options at bottom of the grid to execute the filter.

Tips for Filtering on Data Types

Dates

No matter what format is used to display any date field, use a MM/DD/YYYY format in the filter's text box

You should not use the Contains Option for dates

Values

Do not use any commas or dollar signs in the filter's Search String.

Filter Options

Once you've applied a filter, you have a few choices.

Hide Filter - hides the Filter Toolbar from view. It can be restored by clicking Show Filter

Apply Filter - applies any changes to the filter options you've made

Remove Filter - clears all filters on the grid and hides the Filter Toolbar from view.
