Grouping by a field consolidates the data viewed into collapsible sections by field value. If grouping is enabled, TexRev displays a Group By Bar above the header row. The Group By Bar contains any fields that are currently being Grouped. If no fields are being Grouped, then it contains the text, "Drag a column header here to group by that column." You can group by multiple fields in any desired order. Depending on the grid settings, Tex Rev may remove grouped fields from the header list.

 

Collapse a Group

 

Click on the Minus Icon on the left of the Group Header.

 

Expand a Collapsed Group

 

Click on the Plus Icon in the group's header.

 

Add a Field to Grouping

 

Click and drag its column header to the Group By Bar.

 

 

To Remove a Field from Grouping

 

Click and drag the field name off the Group By Bar.

 

To Change the Grouping Hierarchy

 

Click and drag a field name on the Group By Bar and drop it in your desired rank.
